Stop worrying: These units are mmol/liter. Maybe there is a misunderstanding. "Reference range" is the values you find for 94% or so of healthy people. A few percent of healthies fall outside just by human variability. There's no reason to try to shoehorn an unusually healthy HDL-C (for that's what it is) into "being like everybody else." Get a consult with a specialist if you're still in doubt.
