High HDL: Hardly anyone in their twenties should be tested or be on cholesterol medication. An HDL nearly three times the upper limit of normal means you have more built in protection than almost all men. You should not be on medication.

He may be right,,,: A very high HDL like you've got is a great protector against heart disease. The LDL isn't high and is in a good range. Many others with this finding around the world have total chol. Over 200 with high HDLs at or approaching 100 and they very rarely if ever have heart disease so unless there are other issues like diabetes or high blood pressure this, by itself is highly unlikely to be a problem.
