Are my cholesterol levels bad? 33f 222 mg/dl; ldl 140; triglyceride 42; hdl 74 is there anything to do to to lower the #s? the dr notes says to exercise more and eat a low fat diet.

OK: Although your LDL is borderline (130 to 159) your HDL is protective. Some things to consider would be taking some garlic, niacin or flax seed or fish oil daily. If you do not eat oat meal this is a very good food to help reduce lipids. A low glycemic diet (Mediterranean is good example) would help. Exercise is good especially try to incorporate high intensity sessions weekly.
