Fell on my hands more than a year ago.had x-ray &mri.mri:mild increased t2 signal intensity of the median nerve which can be seen with cts.ortho.wants me to take emg. i can't take emg due to health condition.can i have an ultrasound to rule out cts?

CTS: In my experience in such cases, I have gotten best results when a hand surgeon takes over.

Instead of an EMG for cubital tunnel, can you have an MRI or sonogram done? I am absolutely against an EMG but my pinky finger hurts. Please help.
