What can an ultrasound of a wrist tell you that a x-ray or mri can't? chronic wrist problem for almost 2 years

See details: An ultrasound can show greater soft tissue details than an x ray but it is not superior to an mri.

Not: Much. The x-ray shows mostly bone and calcification, u/s shapes and fluid, MRI a lot of detail. U/s cheaper. Nerve test shows conduction problems.
