Have controlled lupus but wbc runs low. have had several surgeries, (1 major), over the past 6 months. most recent procedure month ago. i seem to good for a while & then very vulnerable to viruses which completely wipes me out. is this normal?

Be cautious: if around people with colds and practice hand washing as much as you can, you may be on steroids or other immunosuppressants for control of your lupus, that's why your WBC is running low, if not, kindly see an allergist/ immunologist for evaluation after conferring with your rheumatologist, best wishes
