A member asked:

I had ectopic pregnancy got my tube removed yesterday afternoon iam home and passed a huge clot is that normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Post ectopic: clots: An ectopic (tubal) pregnancy can produce an increase in the thickness of the uterine lining, which will produce bleeding , sometimes brisk after the pregnancy is removed, and clots may occur. On rare occasions, another pregnancy may occur in the uterus, so if the bleeding continues, obtain another pregnancy test (serum HCG level).
