I had my last period on 7th december.. i did home tests 3 times in the last 2 days and they all showed positive for pregnancy.. but yesterday my serum beta hcg test gave 1.20. what could that mean? miscarriage? or ectopic pregnancy?

That number is difficult to interpret without knowing the reference range or the units being measured. Please communicate with the doctor that ordered your testing.
