Little or no risk: Blood borne infections are rarely if ever acquired from contact with blood in the environment. There are a very few exceptions, e.g. Ebola and similar viruses. No risk for HIV or viral hepatitis. Other viruses and even bacteria can be present in the blood of infected persons, but environmental contact is no worry. To be maximally safe, wash with soap and water if you come into contact with blood.
