A member asked:

If half of my pancreas removed, is it ok to drink alcohol?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Only if: Only if you are not concerned about damaging the other half. Alcohol is destructive to the liver, pancreas, kidneys, and, well, all the other organs, down to hair, skin and fingernails. Anyone with major organs that have been compromised should avoid alcohol.
