Pregnancy/protein: In general whey protein is not recommended in pregnancy because of lack of scientific evidence on long term effects. Foods containing whey protein, I caution as well because whey can sometimes contain saccharin, caffeine, taurine, etc. So you do not know what you are consuming. Try natural proteins, (ie. beans, grains, quinoa, spirulina). Check with your provider for further recommendations.
