Contamination?: You may have cramps from taking a protein shake. It may have become contaminated. If it is a big bottle, make site your hands are clean each time you scoop it out. Also you could have food poison. Sometimes you may be better off with a regular healthy diet. If cramps get worse and you feel dehydrated then see a doctor.

Protein supplement: You are overloading your intestines. Better to back off and not use so much. Excellent sources of protein exist: Egg white is superior to all. Quinoa is excellent. Beans and lentils are excellent. Milk protein is excellent. Whole grains are good but not sufficient. Nuts are excellent. Yogurt is excellent.
