No malignancy: Original use of mammogram was in detecting non palpable stellate lesion. As sensitivity increased, micro calcification in clusters noted and if examined by biopsy might prove to be DCIS. If U.S. performed it was to distinguish if lesion contained fluid and as such was cyst. When repeat is in 6 months, since no specific lesion at the time, was to R.O. potential developing process

I did have a repeat spot compression mammo and ultrasound it is benign have to wait 6 months why?
