One year ago mammogram and ultrasound identified a cluster of microcysts with a few calcifications no internal vascularity. repeated imaging at six months no change. it was assigned bi-rads 3. radiologist said less concerned now. is this right?

A Bi-Rads rating of 3 is low likelihood of a finding being malignant. Nevertheless, for peace of mind, I refer these patients to a breast surgeon for best follow-up & advice as I'm not a fan of this somewhat uncertain status of whether biopsy should be considered. I leave that decision to the expert.
