21, female. taking 50mg metoprolol. how much potassium can i safely ingest? really scared of potassium but recent blood test it was normal.

If your renal: function is normal you are unlikely to have a problem regulating your potassium. The metoprolol will not affect this. Supplemental potassium is rarely necessary unless you have certain endocrine disorders or are taking certain medications that cause you to lose potassium. You had better discuss your concerns with your health care provider who has all of your health information and lab work.
