Is it okay to drink alcohol 3 weeks after a mild concussion. im 18 and i cant feel an symptomps. nothing happened to me only a bit of internal bleedi?

Unclear: Alcohol use after a concussion increases the chances of accident and repeat concussion. A "bit of internal bleed" sounds problematic. Many concussions are alcohol related, if alcohol is a problem seek professional help. Best answer is to ask your treating physician how long to wait before alcohol use..

concern is for neuromodulatory changes and neuroadaptive changes in the young brain more importantly assuming that you where diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury this is associated with increased incidence of alcohol dependence , because you had a bleed this also must be followed with cr etc. Bottom line don't consider it to be safe
