Why ?: Tooth eruption can follow many patterns and an irregular timetable. What you consider symptoms of teething may also be totally unrelated. If a kid is feeding well, & playing off & on like in infant, I don't consider it a problem.

Don't worry: Children do not read the same textbooks we do. Be patient. Wait for eruption of the 1st baby tooth, or her 1st b'day, whichever comes first, and then see a Dentist, preferably a Pediatric Dental Specialist, a Pedodontist, who is by training a dentofacial-facial growth and development expert. All children should see Dentist by age 1, Orthodontist by age 7.
