Tooth eruption: Teething patterns in infants is highly variable. Some babies don't get their first tooth until after one year of age and complete tooth eruption can range from days to weeks.

Teething: this is a good question. It can be days to weeks before that tooth erupts through the gums. Very variable with kids. Use teething rings, wet wash cloths for them to chew on. Good luck, they can be quite grumpy.
