DENTIST: A dental exam can determine if it is an abscess or an emerging tooth.

May be infection: More info is needed... does the tooth have a cavity or a deep restoration? Did she ever traumatize the tooth? It needs to be looked at by a dentist to determine if treatment is necessary. Please make an appointment for her.

Dental eval needed: Take your daughter to a dentist ASAP. We cannot diagnose her thru this forum. She needs to be seen by a dentist to determine what is going on and the best treatment. Poor brushing and a high sugar diet can be the cause of cavities. Give her a healthy diet and teach her to brush well.
