Depends: Would need to see X-rays to see where the fracture is/how displaced or otherwise, how long after the injury and then we'd know whether this was appropriate or not. If concerns then recommend urgent consultation with either orthopaedic surgeon or an emergency doctor, preferably one who can look at your X-rays.
