I had surgery on my elbow after a fracture on Saturday my hand and fingers are swollen is this normal?
Will a broken elbow (vertical fracture on the radial head) cause pain and weakness in wrist/hand? Or could it be a whole other injury? Ive been having a hard time moving my hand and wrist. Fingers have been swollen and I cant move my hand palm up?
I had an X-ray of wrist, elbow and forearm 9 days after injury and no evidence of fracture. I have tingling numbness and swelling in fingers and can move them but not bend or grasp fully without pain. Could it be a hand fracture or a sress fracture?
