A member asked:

If i have a small polyp on the thick part of my uterus. does that necessarily mean it's where an embryo will implant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Uterine polyps: The lining of the uterus is stimulated by hormones which cause thickening of the lining an prepare for possible implantation of a fertilized egg. This stimulation sometimes forms benign polyps, which may cause occasional bleeding, but the area of implantation is large enough so that the polyp will not interfere with this process.
