PPI&Kidney Failure: According to Journal of American Medical Association Feb2016 study 10482 participants,it was inferred that POI;S use is associated with higher risk of incident Chronic Kidney Disease.Future research should evaluate if limiting PPI use reduces incident of CKD.While this has raised raised some concerns about long term use of PPIs,but study does not show PPIs use causes CKD.I check kidney functions

PPI: Do have many complications with prolonged use including increased pulmonary infections, osteoporosis and iron def anemia. Aric studies show increased risk of chronic kidney disease with PPI use when compared to use of H2 blockers. I do agree with that
