I am a 31yr male diagnosed with hydradenitis suppurativa, stage 1 hypertension and weigh 175kg with a bmi of 62%. my dietitian recommended pcositol as a daily supplement. will this have any diverse effect on my hormonal balance (testosterone etc?)?

Pharmacist: As a supplement, I'm unsure that it has been fully vetted by a government agency like the FDA in the U.S.. consequently we never know about presence of contaminants, proper dosage, efficacy,interactions with prescription medications such as your BP medications(if any) or hormonal effects. I would ask your pharmacist about this supplement as he/she may have information about it.
