Oxalate: They are not advisable in those who have known oxalate containing kidney stones. I would not worry if you do not have this medical problem. Kale, spinach, beans are good for you!

Stop worrying: I've seen the scare stuff. It's rubbish, just made up. This kind of thing is written by people pretending to be your friends, telling you "what your doctor doesn't know / won't tell you", ultimately in order to sell you something. Kidney stone patients may get a small benefit from restricting oxalates in the diet, but simply drinking plenty of water is far more helpful.

More water: Agree with Dr. Anissian. You may lessen the risk of any damage from oxalate by drinking more water. Drink enough water so that your urine is mostly colorless. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
