Kidney stone.: A stone that size is very unlikely to pass on its own. You’d be better served with lithotripsy or cystoscopy for retrieval.

Options: Low probability of passing this size stone, but no harm in a trial of observation/medical treatment (fluids and Flomax), asking as pain is well controlled, not vomiting, no fever or urinary infection. ESWL and ureteroscopic laser lithotripsy are equally effective for breaking up and eliminating this stone.
