This suggests some: dysfunction of the trigeminal nerve, the 5th (of 12) cranial nerves; this one supplies sensation to the face. The fact that the tingling and numbness is temporary suggests some transient compression of the nerve. Take an inventory of your sleeping positions (arm under your cheek?) and intentionally alter them to see if it makes a difference. No better...see your Doctor or Neurologist. Good wishes
