She has a a 4ft dvt and a pe clot. just home from hospital. is second hand smoke especially dangerous for her?

Can only be dangerou: The noxious stuff in cigarette smoke (including carbon monoxide, cyanide gas, & carbon dioxide) can ONLY be dangerous (they certainly aren't helpful!). Cigarette smoking is probably the #1 or #2 risk factor for developing DVT / PE blood clots (hormone supplements are the other). Second hand smoke also increases risk of lung cancer & other diseases.
