I went in hospital for dvt and pe, and was told spleen was 17.6 cm and liver was 22 cm. my doctors aren't addressing this. should i worry?

Dvt and PE: Your doctors should find a satisfactory explanation for enlargement of liver and spleen. This needs to be investigated. Usually investigations for enlarged spleen and liver are done on an outpatient basis. You need to see a hematologist/oncologist to find out the cause of this enlargement. There are many causes of hepatosplenomegaly with DVT/PE- malignancy, autoimmune conditions, infections etc.
