Cat bites: If your kitten has not been exposed to rabies, a bite from that kitten will not transmit rabies. if the skin was broken or scratched, wash thoroughly with lots of soap and water. Watch for redness, swelling or oozing. Skin infections are much more likely than rabies and can be serious.
