Too late: If you waited that long after exposure it would be too late to benefit from rabies shots. If the animal had no symptoms by that point, the animal did not have rabies.Those whose lifestyle place them at risk for rabies exposure (animal control, living in endemic areas) can get the vaccine ahead of time and be protected for at least 2 years from any exposure.
