I haven't had a period in almost a year i thought maybe when i got my fibroids removed that it would regulate my periods but it didn't even before doing i was having hot flashes i thought that i was going to pre-menopause but the doctor said i wasn't plea

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fibroids & estrogen: Uterine fibroids ate notorious for using up available estrogen by binding it to its' estrogen receptors making it difficult for the rest of the body's estrogen receptors to have enough. This affects your menstrual cycles and the hot flashes symbolize the low estrogen levels. Your MD needs to measure your FSH and estrogen blood levels post myomectomy + PG test to find out why the periods are gone.
