I am experiencing blood in toilet. the following also describe me: bloody stool, blood on toilet tissue, and rectal bleeding. no hemorrhoids. what should i do?

See ur doctor: given age and assuming no other signif. personal/family history, likelihood hemorrhoids high, but would followup with ur MD re possible flex sigmoidoscopy or colonoscopy if warranted. Red flags would be incr pain, fever, unanticipated wgt loss, change stool caliber, continued bleed. Happy to consult re optimizing hemorrhoid care besides meds. Melena (black stools) if real needs urgent attention
