Med side effects: Gilbert's syndrome or disease is not directly of any danger to you. However, you may be more susceptible to side effects from certain medications, so make sure anyone prescribing you medication knows you have Gilbert's syndrome. Also, there is a risk of assuming that the associated jaundice is due to the Gilbert's when it might be something else.
