Air near the kidney?: is not a good thing at all if this was real and not overlaying bowel gas appearing to be near the kidney. In my humble opinion the child needs a more complete kidney evaluation with a CT scan with contrast (if renal function allows) or an MRI scan. And probably needs to be evaluated by a pediatric nephrologist ASAP.
