My daughter has had severe pain around the belly button and vomiting for the last 6 months comes and goes ultrasound shows air around a swollen kidney?

Worrisome ultrasound: If air is around the kidney this is abnormal and can be associated with infection by gas forming bacteria. Is there associated fever? Trauma can also do it. Swelling of kidney can be sign of infection or trauma or tumor. CT with intravenous contrast is suggested to better define problem.Certainly should have further examination by physician.
