My daughter 7 has been having belly button pain and vomiting last 6 months on and off ultrasound shows air around kidney and swollen kidney but ct scan shows nothing should i pay for a private mri and what could be causing these problems thanks?

WeCanNotAnswerThat: It is very hard for us to answer as we do not know what other tests she has had.Pain in belly button area and vomiting for six months can be serious if she is not gaining weight or has lost weight.Has she seen a Pediatric Gastroenterologist.If so dd she have endoscopic exam.I feel that may be more important than MRI.Consult a Ped Gastroenterologist or get a second opinion.Is she on any treatment?
