My ultrasound reported showed a gallstone in the common bile duct which is causing blockage. I've been told get ERCP soon as it is causing the bile to backup. I did not understand this, backup of bile in the liver or the gallbladder?
Fatty liver was accidentally found out when an ultrasound was done for common bile duct stone. Stone is now removed, I'm losing weight to tackle the fatty liver, but does fatty liver prevent the liver from recovering from bile duct obstruction?
How effective is the ultrasound at seeing small amounts of fibrosis or cirrhosis in the liver? Do radiologists get a good enough view of the liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts with this test to detect very early damage in these areas?
Dark urine no smell in am/hrs of no peeing/water gets lighter w/ water,could be bile duct/liver/kidney prob.or just dehydration daily usually ?
