See below: You didn't mention whether you saw a dentist and had the problem addressed. Antibiotic alone will not cure the problem.

Antibiotics: To cure an infected (abscessed) tooth requires root canal Rx or extraction. Antibiotics will limit and reduce infection for as long as you take them, but infection will return when you stop. Schedule Rx appointment with your Dentist.
