Discuss with doctor : There are some features that you mention that would warrant an FNA for evaluation of thyroid cancer. Your medical history and exposure is also very important when considering need for biopsy. It is advised that you discuss these results and further diagnostic procedures such as FNA with your primary care doctor or specialist who conducts thyroid biopsies in your area (endocrine or ENT doctor).
