ENT will request: The ENT specialist will likely want to formally assess your hearing but, they will either do it themselves or request it. If however, you feel subjectively that your hearing has decreased then it would be sensible to get it checked prior to your appointment. Are you seeing them privately? You could email their secretary and ask them.
