First you need: a definitive diagnosis, so see your doctor for evaluation. Management of the scoliosis depends on the severity(degree of curvature), your age, and possibly other clinical factors. If the scoliosis is mild, it may only require observation. If severe, surgical treatment may be recommended. In children, bracing is sometimes utilized, but not so effective in adults who have stopped growing.

Yes: Yes, if you are considered a surgical candidate. The two general reasons surgery is done for scoliosis is for structural indications or for patients who are having pain that fail extensive nonoperative care. curves over 45-50 degrees will continue to progress relentlessly into adulthood and so surgery is considered. Majority with scoliosis do not need nor are they a candidate for surgery.

Why ?: It must not be that bad or you would have had it evaluated by now.Scoliosis becomes evident in the teen years & can worsen significantly during the growth spurt.Treatments are focused on preserving normal postural relationships & vary from nothing to splinting to surgery. What you think might be scoliosis may be something else. Until you have a diagnosis there is no need to consider treatments.
