Viral infection: This is most likely a simple viral infection. Generally with a fever and diarrhea that is called viral enteritis. Most likely it will be self-limited and go away in a few days. There is no treatment to make it go away faster. Simply treat fever with Ibuprofen or tylenol (acetaminophen) and keep the child hydrated with the fluid intake. See your doctor if there are signs of dehydration.
