You don't need to : I'm more interested in how a baby is acting than how high the fever is. If she is drinking well, wetting diapers well, not too cranky, then the fever is her immune system working and doing its job. If she appears to be in pain, won't drink, isn't wetting diapers, is vomiting repeatedly, having trouble breathing etc., then seek medical attention. The fever alone is not dangerous.
