Teething: As you mentioned very often causes a temperature rise. If the meds are working and he seems to be fine otherwise, i would just monitor him. I'm sure you can always call the pediatricians office to ask if a visit is necessary, but i think they will tell you the same thing. Hope this helps.

Teething Help: Many infants show signs of distress during teething. The exact mechanism these symptoms occur during teething is not known, but the correlation of these stress symptoms with a tooth erupting remain high. Ibuprofen, cold teething rings and/or camilia can help. Try to keep fluid intake high. Ibuprophen will help with the elevated temp. And with discomfort. If it doesn't improve see your pediatrician.
