Diarrhea: Vomiting and diarrhea for 2 days could be a viral gastroenteritis, or stomach flu. If there is a high fever, chills, low blood pressure, patient like you will need to see a doctor. Electrolytes and kidney function could be checked with the blood tests. In some cases, patients with the dehydration will need the fluids to be given intravenously.
