What does it mean when ultra sound report says "no increased vascularity on color doplor"?

The use of sound: waves has advanced a long way and is now incredibly useful in diagnosis using ultrasound. Doppler technology, which bounces high frequency sound waves off circulating blood cells to estimate blood flow, can be added. The change in flow is represented by color or audibly by change in pitch. The area examined showed no increased blood flow/supply, something that is often seen in tumor growth.

Its a good report: Ultrasound tries to make a distinction between benign and malignant growths/tumors. Increased vascularity is one of the signs for the tumor to be malignant. Since your's does not show it, you should feel safe with the present report.
