A member asked:

A submandibular lymph node had decreased after antibiotics but does not dissapear.can still be cancerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: If the lymph node decreased in size with antibiotics, it was probably enlarged due to infection. It may take weeks to months for it go back to normal size. You may check it every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, you should see a doctor.
