Patients with cancer sometimes experience symptoms of fatigue, random fevers, night sweats, and weight loss. Lymph nodes that are large, growing, and are non-tender should be evaluated with a physical exam to look for other lumps and bumps and an ultrasound to measure and determine if they are lymph nodes or other types of masses. If greater than 1cm, they are often biopsied.

If your lymph nodes have not changed in 3 years, it is not cancer. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
