ANS: not certain what you mean by can it be missed. What do you mean can be missed. Many things can be missed on CT. Review with your Dr.

Abdominal x-ray showed colon thickening. Colonoscopy came back fine. No diverticulitis, etc. Could the X-ray have been wrong or what could have been seen on x-ray that colonoscopy missed? This was x-ray and not a CT. GI did not appear concerned?
I did a CT scan came back negative for diverticulitis but showed a narrowing of the colon. 3cm. Other organs are ok. Does it mean I have colon cancer? I have no blood in stool but I had two episode of complete blockage with vomiting. Colonoscopy next
